Nurturing the Feminine -            3 Day Retreat


A CELEBRATION OF WOMANHOOD

Imagine time to breathe, space to relax, the opportunity to focus on your wellbeing, time to just be. We offer you a celebration of Womanhood, "Nurturing the Feminine".

In time-honoured tradition, every so often a woman will feel drawn towards taking retreat time out to gather together with other women.  A little time to withdraw temporarily from the responsibilities of life to consider her own needs, to immerse herself in the gift of womanhood and replenishment and regrowth.                                            

We will be hosting this retreat at the beautiful 4* Potash Barns in Suffolk.  Space is limited to 12 women sharing 6 twin rooms spread over 3 beautifully converted barns in high quality accommodation in the idyllic peaceful countryside.  Plenty of nooks and crannies to be by yourself to rest or read should you wish to and communal areas for socialising and to try your hand at simple crafting with likeminded women.

Our food is selected, menus created and meals cooked by ourselves, with love, along with our husbands who are an absolute whizz in the kitchen.  We prepare thoroughly before retreat, to ensure every ingredient is as fresh as it can be, organic where possible and as local as possible.  Our food is vegetarian and can be vegan, nutritious and balanced.  Breakfast will be a help yourself affair, consisting of fruits and toasts made with delicious breads, preserves, avocados, cereals and herbal teas.  Will will even pick nettles and seasonal herbs to make you beautiful fresh teas too.  Lunch is usually light, a homemade soup and a salad or something along those lines, plentiful and full of energy.  Dinner is wholesome, earthy, packed with goodness and lots of it.

And don’t forget the treats!  As well as a fruit bowl, home baked cakes, flapjacks and traybakes all come along with us for you to help yourself to at any time.

These are all optional, no pressure to do anything or to participate unless you want to.  You may decide to simply relax and enjoy the time to be, time to rest.


Practicalities 

Your investment in yourself is £385, a deposit of £100 is required to secure your place with the balance required 6 weeks before.  We are happy for you to pay the balance on a monthly payment plan if required.  The cost includes all your food, workshops, materials, accommodation, excludes travel to the venue but we will be encouraging car sharing.  You can do as much or as little as you want.  Everyything is provided, you just need to bring your own personal things, toiletries, towels, yoga mat etc.  Arrival between 3.30pm and 4pm on Monday 25th June for tea and cake, leave after lunch on Wednesday 27th June.

Gift yourself this time. Commit to you. As well as leaving feeling good, you will leave with some tools in your toolbox to inspire you and deal effectively with the stresses of everyday life.
